Uba River is situated in Eastern Kazakhstan, Gorny Altai region, close to Ust-Kamenogorsk sity and the border with Russia. It is one of the best and exiting rivers in Kazakhstan and it’s very popular among white water rafting lovers. It is a right tributary of Irtysh River and appears from junction of Black Uba River and White Uba River. There are many rapids: Suchya Dyra, Altar, Palati, Pikhtoviy, Stroitelniy, Bolshie Ubinskie Porogi. The best time for rafting is July- August period of time. Starting point- Poperesnoe village. Lenth of the route-250km. Usually it takes 9-10 days to reach the final place, Verhuba village.This River is 3-d category of difficulty, so it's not for the beginners.
